Last night I was chatting with 
in the darailyard [link] about railfanning when we were younger.
I then went and dug up my old scrapbook, and took a walk down memory lane.
Here are a few examples of my early attempts at railfanning. These were taken in the early 1990's at the Sebring Model Railroad Club with a Kodak Funsaver Camera. Back when SD40-2's still ruled the rails along side the newer SD60M's and C40-8W's. There were also still plenty of Dash-7's running around as well. BNSF was still a long way off, and a merger between Conrail and either CSX or Norfolk Southern was just a rumor.
My scrapbook only has about a dozen (half of which are frieght cars) or so of the many shots I took.
As time goes by I'll dig up more and more. I know that I do have some I took at Horeshoe Curve back in 1993.

Makes me so glad I kept all my photos somewhat neatly archived. I have an awesome record between December 1986 and my last 35mm shots on 8/13/99 a CNW MP-15 and UP GP-15 at Congress park! I hope everyone likes my old stuff!
