It still wears a Bowtie! ;)
A friend of mine owns a Silverado and he is basically the butt of all my anti-Chevy jokes.

I used to agree with you, having grown up in a Ford family. That same extended family now has a Mazda Miata, a Toyota Prius, a Toyota Sienna, and after the accident that destroyed it (not my fault), I replaced my Lincoln Mark VIII with a Honda Civic... I sold that before moving to Germany. We're living happily now without any form of automotive transportation. I run errands on a bicycle, and when I begin teaching English classes in Frankfurt come September, I'll be commuting via high speed train. A real truck is built by the likes of international, peterbuilt, mack, and the like; however, even the big boys can only handle one third the capacity of one railcar... (^_^) I do like the irony of a Ford pickup hauling a broken-down Chevy van though.

Ford can compete with International, Peterbilt, etc. with its F-650 and F-750 though.

Indeed. Things have changed a bit since my last comment though. I now drive a '93 BMW 525 TDS. I've spent almost as much time repairing it as I have driving it. (^_^)

Cool. Just saying though, Pete, International, KW, Freightliner, etc, aren't the only contenders in the semi world. Ford, Chevy, and GMC are in it too.
